Turning Point Ranch is a non-profit organization. We were established in 2004 with one goal in mind, stopping the vicious cycle of ex-offenders returning to incarceration. We feel that giving these men transitional housing with the atmosphere of a loving, caring, Christian enviroment,Turning Point Ranch can return these men back into society a changed person, with a Christian service life style instead of a "me first" life style.

Time and time again our lives have been connected with men in and out of jail and prison. Fears of getting a second chance, concerns about employment, and falling back into their old ways of life, were foremost in their thoughts and comments. Many of those have come from dysfuctional homes and a variety of circumstances. We want to help them find employment, obtain their GED, develop daily life skills, find a loving church to enfold them, and maintain a primary focus on a close walk with Jesus Christ.

"It has been a joy to see the dream develop of Turning Point Ranch. Many people from all walks of life are coming together to help make this dream a reality. With such an immense need for a ministry like this, I trust that countless lives will be built up through the power of compassion and love. The leadership board has exhibited vision and uncommon energy." Pastor Gary Luurtsema East Saugatuck Church

"Bob and Kim have a plan to help ex-offenders re-enter society. Without help, most ex-offenders will return to a life of crime. Turning Point Ranch will reverse this trend as it helps ex-offenders transition back into society. Will it work? The fact is that most prisoners who get assistance become productive members of society and never again commit another crime. Bob and Kim's plan for post-prison ministry through Turning Point Ranch is a good one and they need your help." Dr. H. David Schuringa Crossroads Bible Institute

"When an inmate is released from incarceration, they face major challenges. On the average, 75% of inmates will re-offend. The foremost reason for this is the fact that they have no guidance in changing their behavior or their home enviroment.Turning Point Ranch gives them the opportunity to do just that...to change their behavior and change their home enviroment. Turning Point Ranch will have a long term and possitive impacts on these individuals' lives and on their contributions to society." Sheriff Blaine Koops Allegan County
